Aria McKinnon tried to talk herself into believing that banker Cameron Grant would be happy to have her in the job of nanny for his children. After all, he had hired her – well, his housekeeper actually had. She was heading over to the bank now and would know soon. She went into his office and sat down while he read over and signed papers. When he finally looked up, he told her he didn’t think she was a good fit for the job! She knew he meant her red hair offended him… no… or her Irish ancestry? No… she was “too pretty” and he didn’t want the nanny running off. This was a long-term job and she was not a good candidate because she was pretty! So she stood tall and held up her hand and told him why she was the best he would find. Surprisingly, he agreed to hire her because he admired determination. That was an asset he could use. He wasn’t sure she could last the day with his two hellions!Her first day started out with a bang… as she tripped over a wire the children had strung across the door. Instead of yelling at them, she sat with her face hidden in her knees until they got curious and came close. She told them about dragons, and although Thomas denied their existence, he finally offered an idea of where he thought they would hide. Aria looked at their daily schedule – no time for play and so serious – and said that today, they would just go outside and play so they could get to know each other better. It’s too bad that Cameron is so determined to never remarry. What kind of future is ahead for all of them? Can anything possibly change Cameron’s mind enough to reconsider love?
This book was delightful! I adored the characters and the bond of love and trust that developed. Aria’s natural instincts with the children really does pull on the heartstrings. She’s feisty and stubborn, but her heart is definitely where it should be, and the children respond to that. I highly recommend this book and this author. I am definitely a new fan and will eagerly continue to read her books!

Good read
Loved this book and the series. Great characters with interesting stories.
Book number 4 was great too. Only one problem, the stories are getting shorter. The love of family and friends is still good and strong.
I love this series. Each couple has it's own story. Each one explores a different side of the wild West. Aria is a true Irish beauty. Her feisty nature and willingness to put it all on the line for love made this a must read.

I am very much enjoying this series. Book 4, A Mail Order Dream continues to be as well done as the previous books. I like how each bride's personality is unique in the books I am looking forward to book 5. )
I did like this book. It has a story. The main story is the romance between the hero and heroine. We get in-depth background on the hero. There is some background on the heroine. This story would probably be best enjoyed by reading the books in order. The children are engaging, as is the housekeeper and the heroine's friends. I personally would have liked the book more if the story and characters were more developed. I did enjoy this book more than the book, A Christmas Secret.
While I've been flying through this series (& unashamedly enjoying them), book four was good, but I didn't like it as well as the rest. The plot is predictable, but still enjoyable. I even liked the characters - even if I found Cam and Asia's 'fall into love' almost instantly a little far-fetched. I just wanted more. It was unnecessarily rushed for a predictable ending and it had potential (with a lot more detail) to be more. Also, the dialog felt off in this book - as in it didn't fit the time period and needed a little editing (however, the earlier books in the series seemed fine). Despite all of that, I still see myself reading the next book because I need to know what happens to the remaining ladies.
